In this article, I have mentioned some tips and tricks for cracking your F1 Visa interview. I have tried to be concise and to the point. I hope it helps and all the best for your interview.

1. GET YOUR PAPERS READY(You have to keep all your documents ready with you and well arranged so that you give them whichever document they ask for immediately)

2. Dress Well - Well, you will be meeting the VO for 2-5 mins, do not dress sloppily. Be well-groomed or clean-shaven, dress normally(make sure you are comfortable in what you wear), do not wear suits if you don’t wear them normally and don’t go in flip flops)

3. Do not take much stress - If you stress about it, it will show on your face, and then even if you are answering correctly, the VO will think that you are not confident. Be confident and calm.

4. Remember, you are going for studies and not for jobs, show them that you are going for studies.

5. Don’t build up stories in everything you answer; it will look fishy and will look like you have remembered all of it. Be concise and speak normally.

6. Know your program, career plans, future ideas; why do you want to do masters? Why are you switching courses? Be prepared

7. Preparation, confidence, and research - These three points sum up everything, do not leave our visa interview prep for the last minute, research well enough - that will build confidence - that will make you prepared. It’s a cycle.

Your answer should not look like you have remembered some lines by heart; it should look somewhat natural as well.
